Our photographer, Susanna Lavdas, has been taking photographs
since she got her first Brownie at the age of seven. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she moved
extensively before finally settling in Pennsylvania in 1986, with her husband Michael;
their family also includes two cats: 13-year-old Lucy (a calico) and 4-year-old Paprika (a
tortoiseshell, or "tortie").
When not taking photographs, Susanna's hobbies include reading, gardening and baking. She
has also the author of a devotional book: "Inhabiting the Promises of God."
Visit our contact page for more infomation. Michael and
Susanna are both parishioners of St. Michael the Archangel parish in their hometown of
Levittown.
The photographs displayed here span the course of many years, up to and including the
present, but all reflect her great love for God and His wonderful creation. It is hoped
that, in viewing these photographs you will be able to see the hand of God our Father, who
created not only the vastness of the heavens and all its stupendous beauty, but also the
petals of a flower, so amazing in its intricate delicacy, and each one of us, His
children.
"The sea is His, for He made it, and
His hands formed the dry land." (Psalm 95:5)
We hope you will enjoy the Gallery, and in it
will find our Father and His very personal love for you. If today you hear His voice
whispering to you as you look upon His handiwork, open your mind and heart to Him: He
waits to receive you with open arms.
